Arlington, VA (Hybrid) $120K - $140K + bonus
Our client, a well-established, privately held real estate and asset management firm, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations across its commercial and residential property portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for commercial and residential properties
- Lead month-end and year-end close
- Review budgets and financial dashboards for senior leadership
- Manage a team of two Senior Accountants and one AP Accountant
- Improve and automate accounting processes
- Meet monthly with Property Managers to review property financials
- Work on-site four days a week for the first three months, then hybrid with three days in office
Qualifications
- Real estate accounting experience (commercial preferred)
- Supervisory experience
- Strong Yardi skills
- A knack for process improvement and problem solving
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus
