It is a visible position that partners with multiple Finance functions and provides exposure to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic planning, valuation, and capital-planning decisions.
  • Analyze monthly financial results against budget and prior-year performance, identifying key variances and explaining the underlying business drivers.
  • Evaluate profitability and performance across business lines, products, funds, and growth initiatives.
  • Support the design, testing, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of a new financial reporting and forecasting platform leveraging Workday Finance and AI capabilities.
  • Utilize financial and operational data to deliver timely insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Prepare and review financial reporting packages for lenders, credit facilities, and rating agencies.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis related to capital structure, financing, and other corporate-finance matters.
  • Develop financial analyses and supporting materials for due diligence, strategic initiatives, and executive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and other Finance teams to understand financial results and ensure significant developments are appropriately reflected in FP&A reporting.
  • Create executive-level presentations, financial decks, and supporting talking points.
  • Identify opportunities to improve budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial-planning processes.
  • Enhance FP&A workflows and financial models as business requirements and organizational priorities evolve.
  • Maintain appropriate processes and controls to support the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data.

Basic Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in FP&A or a closely related discipline.
  • Relevant experience may come from FP&A, management consulting, accounting, audit, investment management, or similar environments.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting concepts, and financial analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience building dynamic models and working with large datasets.
  • Experience managing or contributing to complex projects within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to understand the broader business context.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to present financial information and business issues to senior and executive-level audiences.
  • Demonstrated ownership, resourcefulness, and the ability to work independently while producing high-quality deliverables.

Preferred Background

The following experience would be particularly valuable:

  • Background in the asset-management or investment-management industry.
  • Familiarity with investment fund structures and related financial considerations.
  • Strong technical accounting and financial foundation.
  • Experience preparing lender reporting or working directly with lenders and financing partners.
  • Experience implementing, optimizing, or leveraging an ERP or financial-management system for forecasting and reporting, particularly Workday.
  • Comfort operating in situations involving ambiguity, evolving priorities, and limited direction.
