Responsibilities for Accountant include but are not limited to:
Validate, settle, and confirm energy commodity transactions.
Investigate and resolve pricing, volume, and trade discrepancies.
Maintain accurate transaction and market data within the risk management system.
Support invoicing processes and Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
Assist with monthly close activities and financial reporting requirements.
Coordinate with trading counterparties, schedulers, Accounting, Treasury, Risk, FP&A, and Power Marketing teams to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.
Ensure adherence to detailed and time-sensitive operational processes.
Support data reconciliation and issue resolution activities related to wholesale energy transactions.
Candidates for Accountant must meet the following requirements to be considered:
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
Up to two years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, operations, or a related business environment.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to learn specialized systems and applications.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $27.72 per hour
