This 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role welcomes veterans and military spouses. You'll help families who asked for information understand their options and apply, working from home on a schedule you manage.
What you'll actually do- Call or video-chat with people who already requested life insurance information from us
- Learn each household's situation and priorities before showing a single option
- Explain coverage choices in plain language, then complete the application together
- Follow every application through underwriting and keep the family updated until a decision
- Log each conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens
- Keep up with ongoing training on products, carriers, and state rules
- Military service or military-family life is welcome here, but it isn't required
- Comfortable holding appointments by phone and video from your own home office
- Disciplined enough to run your day without someone setting the agenda
- A state life insurance license, or a plan to get licensed before your first sale
- Straightforward with people making real decisions for their families
- At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
- Contracts with 43 carriers, so you recommend what fits instead of one company's lineup
- Access to exclusive lead systems, so your conversations start with people who asked first
- Weekly team calls, plus call reviews, scripts, and ride-alongs when you want them
- One-on-one mentorship from Ben and Andrea, who run the agency
