Landfill Laborer

We are hiring Landfill Laborers to support operations at a busy landfill in Lewisville, TX. This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a physically demanding outdoor environment.

This is not a warehouse position. Work is performed outdoors at an active landfill site around heavy equipment, dust, debris, and strong odors.

• Monday-Friday (hours may vary based on site needs)
• • 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Occasional overtime and Saturdays may be required
• Must be flexible with schedule and available for varying start times
• Consistent attendance is required

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily landfill operations at the working site
• Pick up debris and maintain cleanliness of active areas
• Direct traffic and assist trucks entering/exiting dump zones
• Work safely around heavy equipment and moving vehicles
• Follow all site safety rules and procedures at all times
• Perform general labor duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly
• Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled, outdoor environment
• Able to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
• Comfortable working around trash, dust, and strong odors
• Steel-toe boots required
• Reliable transportation to and from job site
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Must pass drug screen and background check
• Required to complete site safety orientation
• Must wear PPE at all times (hard hat, safety vest, gloves, steel toes)
