Xterior Home Services is looking for a dependable, motivated Pool Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Southwest Florida.

No pool experience is required. We provide hands-on training.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, prefers an active job instead of sitting behind a desk, and wants to learn a skilled trade with opportunities to grow within a professional pool service company.

What You'll Do

As a Pool Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining residential swimming pools along an assigned weekly route. Your typical responsibilities will include:

• Perform weekly residential pool maintenance
• Test and balance pool water chemistry
• Add chemicals as needed
• Brush pool walls, steps, benches, and tile
• Skim debris from the water
• Vacuum pools as needed
• Empty skimmer and pump baskets
• Inspect pool equipment during each visit
• Clean cartridge filters as scheduled
• Identify potential equipment or water-quality issues and report them to our office
• Complete digital service reports after each visit
• Take on-site photos documenting completed service
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment at customer homes
• Properly maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle
• Communicate professionally with customers and the Xterior Home Services team

No Experience? That's Okay!

We are willing to train the right person.

You do not need previous pool industry experience. We are looking for someone who is dependable, willing to learn, takes pride in their work, and can be trusted to complete their route correctly without constant supervision.

You will be trained on:

• Pool water chemistry
• Proper chemical handling
• Pool cleaning techniques
• Basic pool equipment operation
• Identifying common pool and equipment problems
• Using our digital pool service and reporting system
• Xterior Home Services' service standards and procedures

• Can follow an assigned route and daily schedule
• Takes pride in doing a job correctly, even when no one is watching

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Clean or acceptable driving record
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
• Ability to safely handle pool chemicals after training
• Ability to use a smartphone and mobile apps
• Must be reliable and able to work a consistent schedule
