Job description
1. Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and internet systems to meet operational and customer requirements. (20%) 2. Install, configure, test, and maintain network-related hardware and software, including routers, switches, and virtualized environments. (15%) 3. Monitor network performance, usage, and traffic patterns using network monitoring and diagnostic tools, and identify potential issues or bottlenecks requiring corrective action. (20%) 4. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network connectivity, hardware, and system issues, and escalate complex or recurring issues to engineering or senior technical teams as appropriate. (10%) 5. Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and updates to ensure stability, security, and continuity of service. (15%) 6. Assist users by identifying and resolving network, computer hardware, and software issues, and provide technical support as needed, including receiving instructions from and providing detailed task updates, status reports, and completion summaries to Korean-speaking managers, clients, and colleagues in spoken and written Korean to maintain consistent service delivery. (10%) 7. Support the operation and optimization of network monitoring and alerting systems, including composing and distributing outage or incident notifications related to customer-impacting events to Korean-speaking clients, vendors, and headquarters personnel in spoken and written Korean. (5%) 8. Document network configurations, procedures, and support activities, and assist in training users or internal staff on new or updated systems, communicating with Korean-speaking colleagues and headquarters personnel in spoken and written Korean as needed.
