Role Description:

The Marketing & Sponsorship Specialist plays a key role in elevating the Chamber's

visibility, member engagement, and revenue through creative marketing strategies,

compelling content, and strong partnerships. This role combines strategic thinking,

relationship building, and hands-on content creation-including video editing and

storytelling-to bring our mission and events to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Marketing & Communications:

• Develop and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns for Chamber

initiatives, events, and membership drives.

• Create engaging content for social media, email newsletters, press releases, and

the website.

• Film, edit, and produce promotional videos, member spotlights, and event recaps

to drive engagement and brand awareness.

• Maintain brand consistency across all communications and platforms.

• Analyze campaign metrics and adjust strategies to improve outreach and

effectiveness.

Sponsorship & Partnership Development:

• Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities for events, programs, and digital

campaigns.

• Create sponsorship proposals and customized packages tailored to potential

partners.

• Cultivate relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and corporate

sponsors.

• Ensure sponsor deliverables are fulfilled and reported post-event to drive renewal

and long-term support.

Events & Community Engagement:

• Support the promotion of Chamber events including luncheons, expos, ribbon

cuttings, and business mixers.

• Capture photo and video content at events to be used in post-event promotion and

year-round marketing.

• Work closely with Chamber members to spotlight their stories and successes via

digital storytelling.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Production, or a related

field.

• 3+ years of experience in marketing, sponsorship development, or partnership

management.

• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and media management tools.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for community

and business development.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative

environment.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience working with Chambers of Commerce, nonprofits, or community-based

organizations.

• Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., ChamberMaster, GrowthZone).

• Event planning or coordination experience
