We're currently seeking a full-time, in-person Special Education Teacher to support a school in Buckeye County, Arizona for the school year.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success through targeted instruction, collaboration with general education staff, and participation in student support planning. You'll work on-site supporting students in resource rooms in a collaborative school setting.
Position Details:
- Role: Special Education Teacher
- Location: Buckeye County, AZ - On-site
- Pay: $51-$55/ hour
- School Level: Elementary
- Duration: school year

Qualifications:
- Special Education teaching experience (resource room experience preferred).
- Active Special Education teaching certification (or ability to obtain in Arizona).
- Knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and service delivery best practices.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and school teams.
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet district/state onboarding requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized instruction plans to support student learning and development
- Support students in areas such as reading, math, and social skills through small group or one-on-one instruction
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to reinforce student progress
- Monitor and document student performance and growth outcomes
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment tailored to student needs
