We are currently seeking a Low Voltage Technician - Entry Level! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.
Responsibilities:
Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
Troubleshoot motor and control systems
Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
Adhere to all quality and safety codes
Our company also works with healthcare facilities to install, repair and maintain Nurse Call Systems.
Install, program, and commission nurse call systems in hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities.
Pull, terminate, test, and label low-voltage cabling according to project specifications and industry standards.
Install patient stations, staff consoles, emergency pull stations, corridor lights, and code blue communication devices.
Configure IP-based nurse call systems and integrated communication devices with healthcare networks.
Conduct system acceptance testing and verified proper functionality before customer turnover.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to maintain compliance with hospital safety requirements, infection control procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Contribute to on-time project completion while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
Must be able to travel to job site for extended periods of time.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces.
Basic knowledge of structured cabling systems and industry standards.
