Adams, Inc. is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team serving Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone who already has hands-on experience installing and servicing low-voltage systems and smart home technologies. If you're the type of technician who can confidently install, troubleshoot, and commission technology systems while providing an exceptional customer experience, we'd like to speak with you.
For qualified employees interested in furthering their careers, Adams may offer sponsorship into the ABC Wisconsin Electrical Apprenticeship Program, providing an opportunity to earn industry-recognized electrical credentials while continuing to work full-time.
What You'll Install
$28-$34 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and demonstrated capabilities.

This position is intended for experienced low-voltage professionals. While we support qualified employees pursuing an electrical apprenticeship, this role is not designed for individuals with little or no low-voltage installation experience.

What You'll Install
- Structured cabling and low-voltage wiring
- Smart home automation systems
- Whole-home audio and video systems
- Network and Wi-Fi infrastructure
- Surveillance camera systems
- Access control systems
- Smart lighting control systems
- Lutron lighting and motorized shade systems
- Home security and monitoring systems
- Integrated technology solutions for residential and light commercial customers
- Minimum 3 years of low-voltage installation experience
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Structured cabling
- Home automation
- Security systems
- Access control
- Surveillance cameras
- Audio/video systems
- Networking
- Smart lighting controls
- Ability to read plans, wiring diagrams, and specifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Professional appearance and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
