Java Backend Developer

Job Description We are seeking a Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, cloud and event-driven architecture, microservices, and domain-driven design and a proven ability to deliver full lifecycle solutions from concept and design through testing and deployment to AWS. Responsibilities: Define site and system objectives by analyzing user requirements and envisioning features and functionality. Design and develop user interfaces for internet and intranet applications, setting expectations and feature priorities throughout the development lifecycle. Determine design methodologies and toolsets, and complete programming using appropriate languages and software products. Design and conduct unit, integration, and system tests to ensure quality and reliability. Troubleshoot development and production issues across multiple environments and operating platforms. Support users by developing clear documentation and assistance tools. Required Skills & Qualifications: 10+ years of hands-on development with Java, Java EE, and Spring Boot. Proficiency with microservices, domain-driven design, and event-driven architecture. Hands-on experience deploying applications to AWS. Strong understanding of Terraform for infrastructure as code. Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies such as JPA2 and Hibernate. Experience with the Spring Framework and Spring MVC for web applications. Preferred Skills: Experience with additional Java web frameworks such as JSF, Wicket, or GWT.
