Primary Job Functions:

Read and interpret plan sets, shop drawings and installation guides

Prep, install, and troubleshoot Air Handling Units (AHUs), exhaust fans, bag in bag out (BiBo) units, ducted ceiling modules (DCMs), fan filter units (FFUs), duct lines, etc.

Measure, cut, prep, install and repair components utilizing tools such as tape measures, saws, power tools, hand tools, etc.

Understand terms, language, and skills associated with job tools and duties

Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials

Operate scissor lifts to access elevated work areas

Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required

Maintain workstations utilizing 5S principles

Mentor Tech 1 and Tech 2 employees with hands-on knowledge related to shop operations, safety, and productivity

Assist Supervisor with day-to-day operations

Oversee day-to-day operations in the absence of Supervision

Requirements:

Ability and willingness to travel

Ability and willingness to cross-train with other trades

Work unscheduled OT as needed

Valid Texas Driver's license

Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds unassisted regularly

Comfortable working at elevated heights

Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team

HVAC license preferred, but not required

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma

Or GED equivalent
