A Day in the Life

You start your 12-hour shift with a quick safety huddle and priority review. A furnace alarm pops-within minutes you're tracing a 480V circuit, checking VFD parameters, and confirming PLC I/O signals. Later, you pivot to a press with a hydraulic drift, diagnose a sticky valve, and rebuild it. You wrap the afternoon by performing predictive checks on conveyors and robotics, fabricating a small guard, and logging PMs. Throughout, you collaborate with operators, share insights with teammates, and drive improvements that keep production humming.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480V, including motors, drives, PLCs, and controls
• Diagnose and service hydraulic and pneumatic components and circuits
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to maximize uptime
• Maintain presses, furnaces, conveyors, robotics, and other automated equipment
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to resolve issues
• Perform welding and light fabrication when needed
• Support safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects
• Respond rapidly to equipment breakdowns and document corrective actions

What You'll Bring

• Journeyman certification or equivalent hands-on experience in industrial maintenance
• 5+ years in a manufacturing setting
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (PLC exposure preferred)
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation
• Willingness to work any shift and overtime as needed (12-hour day and night shifts available)
• Detail-oriented problem solver with a safety-first mindset and strong teamwork

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Stand, walk, and bend in industrial environments
• Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces as required

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $38.00-$40.00 per hour
• $3.00/hour shift premium for night shift
• $3,000 sign-on bonus after 180 days
• 3 weeks of vacation after 90 days
