Do you read fabrication drawings like a second language? Enjoy setting up machines, making clean cuts, dialing in bends, and laying down quality welds? As a CNC Metals Fabricator & Welder, you'll own the process-from interpreting specs to final inspection-so every part meets the print.
Your Impact- Translate technical drawings and specifications into actionable setups and sequences.
- Operate saws, grinders, press brakes, shears, and CNC equipment to cut and form components.
- Fit, assemble, and weld (MIG, TIG, stick) to create accurate, durable assemblies.
- Verify dimensions and quality at each stage; adjust to maintain tight tolerances.
- Troubleshoot fit-up or process issues to keep projects on schedule.
- Maintain and clean tools and equipment; escalate repair needs to supervision.
- Commit to safety: wear PPE, follow OSHA and company procedures, and keep a tidy, hazard-free area.
- Partner with engineers, designers, and teammates; share status updates and suggest process improvements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or vocational training in fabrication/welding preferred.
- Experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a related discipline.
- Strong print-reading skills and the ability to interpret technical documentation.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Experience with fabrication machinery and common shop tools.
- Detail orientation, problem-solving ability, and confidence working independently.
- Welding certification (e.g., AWS, ASME) preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Lift and move materials up to 40 lbs.
- Work for extended periods while standing, bending, and in varied positions.
- Comfortable working in loud, dusty, or hot shop environments.
