About Us We are a growing manufacturing company specializing in refractory products and related equipment. We are seeking an experienced Welder who can perform quality welding and fabrication work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule
  • 1st Shift
  • 6:00 AM-2:30 PM OR 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Job Summary The Welder is responsible for welding, fitting, fabricating, and assembling metal components used in the manufacturing of refractory products and related equipment. This position requires someone with strong hands-on welding experience who can work from drawings, measurements, and job specifications to produce accurate, high-quality components.
Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG welding and other welding processes as required
  • Perform torch cutting and metal preparation as needed
  • Fit, tack, weld, and assemble metal components
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work orders
  • Measure and mark materials accurately using tape measures, squares, and other measuring tools
  • Cut, grind, drill, and prepare metal for welding and assembly
  • Set up and safely operate welding and fabrication equipment
  • Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality and accuracy
  • Repair or modify fabricated components when necessary
  • Maintain production pace while meeting quality standards
  • Follow job specifications and production schedules
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Work with fabrication, production, engineering, and supervisory teams to complete jobs on time
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on welding experience REQUIRED
  • MIG welding experience REQUIRED
  • Torch cutting experience REQUIRED
  • Must be able to set up and safely operate welding equipment
  • Experience fitting, tacking, welding, and assembling metal components
  • Ability to read fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work orders
  • Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure
  • Experience using grinders, drills, saws/cutting equipment, clamps, and other fabrication tools
  • Previous manufacturing, fabrication, or production experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable cutting, grinding, drilling, and preparing metal in addition to welding
  • Strong attention to weld quality and specifications
  • Dependable attendance and ability to consistently report for an early 1st shift
