FieldBridge Energy seeks Mobile, AL - based Production Technicians, FAT Technicians, and a Test Lab Technician to work for Mobile, AL based client, one of the world's leading subsea technology companies.

Pay / Schedule: $22-$27/hr depending on role. Mon-Fri, 6am-6pm, with rotating day and night shifts for some positions. 100% Onsite. Great opportunity for OT pay. At 55 hrs per week for example, earn weekly paychecks of $1,375-$1,688 gross. Weekly pay + benefits.

• Production Technician: $22-$23/hr. At 55 hrs, $1,375-$1,438/wk.
• FAT Technician: $25-$27/hr. At 55 hrs, $1,563-$1,688/wk.
• Test Lab Technician: $25-$27/hr. At 55 hrs, $1,563-$1,688/wk.

Our client's facility in Mobile, AL builds subsea umbilicals. These are the lifelines that carry power, hydraulics, chemicals, and communications from offshore platforms to wells on the seafloor, sometimes miles below the surface. Every role on this team helps make sure each umbilical is built right, tested hard, and ready to perform for decades in some of the harshest conditions on earth.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Production Technicians assemble and build the umbilical. This is the core of the operation, and nothing ships without this team.
• FAT Technicians run Factory Acceptance Testing to prove each umbilical meets customer specs before it leaves the plant.
• The Test Lab Technician runs API-standard verification testing, including flex-fatigue testing that crushes, pulls, and bends the umbilical up to a million cycles to simulate a 100-year storm. This work is what earns the product its trust in the field.

Requirements:

• Physical industrial or manufacturing experience. Heavy industry is preferred.
• A mechanical background is a plus for Production and FAT roles. Test Lab requires strong mechanical aptitude, such as an auto or diesel mechanic, hydraulic pump tech, or someone with teardown and rebuild experience.
• Flexibility for rotating shifts. Production works every other Saturday. FAT and Test Lab may need extended hours or occasional weekend coverage.
• Basic computer skills for online training certifications.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Career Path:

You start on contract through FieldBridge, with the goal of moving to our client's direct payroll. From there, technicians can grow from entry-level roles into senior technician, lead, and supervisory positions, with pay increasing at each step. Production experience is a natural stepping stone to FAT and Test Lab work.
