Schedule: Full Time, Days 9-5, Monday-Friday (Seasonal Role through April 2027)
What You'll Be DoingAs the Shop Service Technician, you'll manage all aspects of the service shop in a fast-paced factory setting. You'll help deliver extraordinary products and service to customers while maintaining the highest shop service quality and safety standards.
Your day may include:
Performing ski tuning, mounting, base treatment, repair, binding assembly/mounting, and finishing tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail
Inspecting products throughout the shop work process to ensure compliance with DPS quality standards and specifications
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, tools, equipment, and machinery
Assisting with ski fulfillment preparation, packaging, labeling, and shipping of finished goods
Managing shop work tickets and interacting directly with fulfillment and shipping
Supporting inventory management activities by organizing materials, components, and finished products
Identifying and reporting equipment issues or process improvements to supervisors
Collaborating with manufacturing, warehouse, quality, and service teams to meet production goals
Supporting special projects, product testing, prototyping, and continuous improvement initiatives
Performing a variety of shop, warehouse, and production-related duties based on business needs
Mounting and preparing R&D skis and demo fleet for on-snow testing
Cross-training to assist in ski production departments during non-peak shop season
This is an active role where you'll spend most of your day on your feet, working with tools, machinery, and a team that cares deeply about quality.

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
1 year of service technician, ski/snowboard tuning, or retail ski shop sales experience preferred
Working knowledge of ski tuning, base repair, edge finishing, waxing, and binding mounting procedures preferred
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, tuning equipment, and shop machinery
Ability to read and interpret work orders, production documentation, and basic technical instructions
Demonstrable, excellent race-worthy tuning skills
Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Basic computer skills to access work orders, inventory information, or production systems
Demonstrated willingness to learn multiple production processes and become cross-trained across shop functions
Professional and effective communication skills across all levels of employees, management, executives, vendors, customers, and external partners
Hands-on work managing all aspects of the service shop in a manufacturing environment

This position requires:
Standing for long periods of time and moving throughout the workday in a production environment
Performing detailed hand work requiring fine motor skills, visual precision, and repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movements (grasping, pushing, reaching)
Working safely with machinery, tools, and equipment while adhering to company safety and environmental policies
Wearing required personal protective equipment (provided), which may include facemasks, gloves, and safety glasses
Regular lifting and moving of materials and products up to 20 lbs
