About The Role

You'll lead HVAC construction projects across multi-family developments from pre-construction through closeout. This is hands-on project management where you'll coordinate field teams, manage budgets and schedules, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients and subcontractors. You're not just pushing paper - you'll be on-site regularly, solving problems in real-time and keeping commercial HVAC installations running smoothly across multiple properties.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage complete HVAC project lifecycles for multi-family construction from kickoff to final inspection
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, drawings, and specifications to coordinate installations
• Lead daily operations including crew scheduling, material procurement, and subcontractor coordination
• Track project budgets, forecast resource needs, and manage change orders through project management software
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and address field issues
• Maintain client relationships as the primary point of contact throughout project duration
• Identify and mitigate project risks before they impact schedule or budget
• Generate reports and documentation using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Supervise field teams and subcontractors to ensure work meets specifications and safety standards
• Coordinate with general contractors, property managers, and inspectors on multi-family job sites

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of project management experience in construction (HVAC or mechanical systems preferred)
• 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for project documentation and reporting
• Proven experience with project management software platforms
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Strong understanding of multi-family construction processes and timelines
• Valid driver's license for regular site visits

Nice To Have

• HVAC-specific certifications or technical training
• Experience managing commercial or multi-family HVAC projects from start to finish
• Familiarity with building codes and mechanical permitting processes
