Residential & Commercial HVAC Technician

Job Description Job Description

A lot of shops in this town will run you into the ground and never learn your name. That's not how we do it. Right Now Air is family owned and family run, and after 35+ years in the Las Vegas valley, we still operate the same way we started: take care of the customer, take care of each other, and do the job right the first time.

If you can take the heat and still keep your cool, keep reading.

About Us

Right Now Air is a locally owned HVAC service and replacement company based in Las Vegas, serving the whole valley (Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, Boulder City, and everywhere in between). We've been at it for over 35 years. We're not a private-equity rollup and we're not a revolving door. The owner knows every tech by name, backs the crew, and treats this company like the family business it is. When you're here, you're one of us.

What You'll Get

• $30-$40/hr depending on experience
• Medical, dental, and life insurance (100% paid by the company, not "we cover half")
• $1,000 sign-on bonus ($500 at 90 days, $500 at 180 days)
• Take-home company van and gas card
• Big-ticket equipment supplied (torches, recovery machines, vacuum pumps, scales)
• Hand tool purchase program (buy what you need on our accounts, pay it back through easy payroll deductions)
• Paid holidays
• Paid vacation (after 1 year of service)
• Extensive paid training (in and out of state)
• Full-time, year-round work (no seasonal layoffs)
• A shop that's been stable for 35+ years

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnosing and repairing residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
• System replacements and installs
• Explaining issues to customers in plain language (we educate, we don't pressure-sell)
• Keeping your work clean and your quotes honest (what we quote is what we charge)

Who We're Looking For

You take pride in your work. You show up on time, treat customers like family, and don't cut corners when nobody's watching.

Beyond that:

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC field experience
• Experience with both residential and commercial systems
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Your own hand tools, meters, and gauges (we cover the big-ticket equipment)
• Able to pass a national background check and drug screen
• Professional appearance and good communication skills
• Willing to keep learning (we invest in training, so bring the attitude)

How to Apply

Apply below, and we'll reach out fast. That's kind of our thing (it's in the name).

You'll meet the owner during the hiring process, not six layers of managers. If you're looking for a shop where you're a person and not a truck number, this is it.
