Search Solution Group is seeking a Payroll Tax Manager on behalf of our client. This role will oversee payroll tax compliance and administration across a large, multi-entity organization, including federal, state, and local tax reporting, reconciliations, audits, and M&A integration.

Responsibilities:

• Lead payroll tax compliance across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
• Manage federal, state, and local tax filings, registrations, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Partner with payroll providers, Accounting, and Treasury to resolve tax and GL issues.
• Review quarterly and annual filings, including W-2 reporting.
• Monitor payroll tax law changes and ensure system compliance.
• Support payroll tax activities related to mergers and acquisitions.
• Serve as the SME for payroll tax, unemployment, workers' compensation, and escheatment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline required.
• 10+ years of payroll tax, payroll auditing, or related experience within a large, complex organization.
• Experience supporting a multi-national and multi-legal entity environment strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of experience utilizing payroll systems to create, analyze, and troubleshoot payroll data.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end payroll process.
• Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll and employment tax regulations.
• Experience with payroll tax filings, reconciliations, audits, and compliance.
• Payroll M&A and integration experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP Financials, ADP GlobalView, Ceridian Dayforce, SuccessFactors, or similar payroll/HR systems preferred.
• CPP certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
