Part-Time Cognitive Learning Specialist
$30-$34/hour Paid Training Saturdays Required 10-20 Hours/Week
Learning for All is a cognitive learning center seeking thoughtful, motivated professionals interested in a meaningful long-term part-time career opportunity.
This position is ideal for career changers with a bachelor's degree who are looking to develop specialized expertise while making a lasting difference in the lives of students with learning differences. Our specialists provide individualized, one-on-one support and receive extensive paid training, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.
Schedule & Compensation
- 10-20 hours per week
- Availability required during after-school hours (1:30 PM-6:30 PM) and Saturdays
- Paid training provided
- $30-$34/hour after training, based on experience
- In-person position at our San Diego location
What You'll Do
- Provide individualized support to students with learning differences
- Help learners build academic, cognitive, and executive functioning skills
- Implement evidence-based, multisensory intervention protocols
- Support students in becoming more confident, competent, and independent learners
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong administrative skills
- Patience, flexibility, and attention to detail
- Desire to learn specialized intervention methods
- Passion for helping children and adolescents succeed
- Interest in a long-term professional opportunity rather than a short-term position
Previous experience in education, tutoring, psychology, therapy, special education, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, or related fields is valued but not required. We welcome talented professionals from diverse backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow.
