Laborers (Masonry) play a crucial role in supporting masonry projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure sites. They prepare work areas, handle materials, operate tools and machinery, and assist skilled tradespeople to ensure efficient and safe project completion. These laborers often work independently while reporting to site supervisors, foremen, or crew leaders, and may occasionally travel between multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

• Handle and transport materials on-site efficiently
• Prepare construction sites including cleaning and layout
• Mix mortar and other masonry materials accurately
• Support bricklayers and other skilled tradesmen
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely
• Load and unload supplies and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas
• Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines
• Follow instructions from supervisors and crew leaders

• Entry-level experience in masonry labor
• Proficient with hand and power tools
