- A Shift: Sunday-Tuesday (Week 1) / Sunday-Wednesday (Week 2)
- C Shift: Wednesday-Saturday (Week 1) / Thursday-Saturday (Week 2)
- B Shift: Sunday-Wednesday (Week 1) / Sunday-Tuesday (Week 2)
- D Shift: Wednesday-Saturday (Week 1) / Thursday-Saturday (Week 2)
Key Responsibilities
- Pallet Breakdown: Safely dismantle wooden pallets using hand and power saws (e.g., reciprocating saws) to reduce waste volume for disposal.
- Grounds & Site Clean-Up: Regularly inspect outdoor working areas, pathways, and perimeter grounds to collect trash, scrap materials, and litter.
- Waste Disposal: Transport waste, broken lumber, and pallets to designated dumpsters and compactors; ensure dumping areas remain clear and accessible.
- Equipment Safety: Safely operate power tools, saws, and basic manual tools (crowbars, hammers, brooms) following all safety guidelines and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Workplace Safety: Identify and report physical hazards, safety risks, or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Tool Handling: Prior experience using power saws (reciprocating saws/sawzalls) or willingness to undergo power tool safety training.
- Weather Tolerance: Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions (cold, heat, rain, wind).
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or with a small team.
- Safety Mindset: Strict adherence to safety procedures, including wearing eye protection, heavy-duty work gloves, steel-toe boots, and high-visibility apparel.
- Environment: 100% outdoor exposure in varying seasonal weather conditions.
- Physical Demands: Heavy manual labor involving repetitive lifting, sawing, carrying, and bending.
- Gear Provided: Safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and high-visibility vests will be provided. Steel-toe boots are required.
