Job description
General Scope of Work: Ability to perform physical labor which may include but is not limited to grounds keeping (mowing, trimming, weed eating, etc.), landscaping, general building repair and maintenance (painting, light carpentry, plumbing, etc.) and repair, maintenance, and renovations to public properties.
Experience in grounds maintenance or construction work and some experience operating heavy equipment, driving a truck, or mower or any combination of education and experience to demonstrates understanding of the skills and abilities necessary to work described above.
Ability to perform heavy lifting, operate basic construction and landscaping equipment, use hand and mechanical tools, work outside in all weather conditions. Basic/common knowledge of grounds keeping/landscaping, maintenance and construction work, materials, practices, and equipment. Common knowledge of safety practices. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
