Job Description: Our client, a leading pipe distributor in the United States, is looking for a skilled Shop Painter for their South Houston location. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to various pipe materials, ensuring high-quality finishes and adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities:

• Apply paint and coatings to pipe materials using spray guns, rollers, and other tools.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming pipes before painting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Ensure high-quality finishes and consistent work standards are met.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial painting, preferably with pipes and metal surfaces.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of painting equipment.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings, including background check and drug test.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, with occasional lifting of over 100 lbs.
