Salary: $62,000 - $70,000, includes company vehicle and company provided gas card.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Conduct classroom and hands-on training on safe operation. May involve technical help in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair courses internally.
  • Deliver operator certification courses compliant with OSHA and industry standards.
  • Facilitate refresher training, product updates, and onboarding courses for new hires.
  • Train customers and technicians on equipment usage, safety, and care.
  • Find, quote and sell training opportunities to current and prospective customers.
  • Develop and update training materials, manuals, SOPs, and presentations based on OEM content and internal needs.
  • Customize training for various equipment types: electric forklifts, IC forklifts, telehandlers, pallet jacks, MEWPS etc.
  • Assess trainee performance through written exams, practical demonstrations, and observation.
  • Issue operator or technician certifications upon successful completion.
  • Maintain accurate training records and certification logs in compliance with internal and guidelines.
  • Promote and reinforce a culture of safety-first in all training environments.
  • Ensure training meets or exceeds regulatory requirements
  • Assist with safety audits and incident investigations as needed.
  • Gather and analyze trainee feedback to continuously improve training quality.
  • Assist in creating technical career paths for field and shop technicians.
  • Support field service operations with real-time training when needed (ride-alongs, troubleshooting coaching).
  • Support sales teams in visiting customers and conducting safety audits and inspections.

Requirements:

  • 2 years minor technical experience with industrial equipment
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with OSHA forklift regulations and safety standards
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel (regional, 25-50%
  • Willingness to learn and self manage time to success.
  • Ability to understand necessary service and training manuals and schematics
  • Can safely operate power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks and overhead cranes.

TYPICAL WORK SCHEDULE: The typical work schedule is as follows. 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or as needed
