Residential HVAC Selling Technician

You already know how to diagnose and fix. This seat is about what happens after the diagnosis.

We are One Hour of Dayton, located in Englewood OH and serving the greater Dayton area. We are looking for a technician who wants the price book in his hands. You'll run service calls, find the problems, and when a system is at the end of its life you'll be the one who walks the homeowner through it. Not a handoff to somebody else. You see it, you present it, you sell it, and you get paid on it.

That means being thorough on every call, because the opportunity is usually sitting in the equipment nobody looked at closely. It means walking the homeowner through each repair and replacement option so they can make a real decision about their home. And it means knowing the financing cold, because a good recommendation the customer can't pay for isn't a recommendation at all.

Do that well and your hourly is the floor, not the ceiling.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and service residential HVAC equipment on every call
• Identify replacement opportunities and present them on the spot
• Walk the homeowner through each repair and replacement option
• Present and process financing so price never kills a sound recommendation
• Follow through from the sale to the install so the customer stays taken care of

Your Must-Haves

• 5+ years of residential HVAC experience
• Universal EPA Certification
• Experience selling replacement systems in the home
• Comfort with financing applications and payment conversations
• A positive, friendly attitude
