Lighting Technician II - Permanent, Holiday, and Event Lighting

Silicon Valley Lights San Francisco Bay Area, CA Full-time 2 openings $1,100$1,500 per week Silicon Valley Lights is hiring experienced lighting technicians to join our outdoor installation crew. Responsibilities As a Lighting Technician II, your responsibilities will include: - Installing permanent, holiday, and event lighting with minimal supervision - Mounting permanent track along rooflines and eaves cleanly and securely - Wiring and connecting power supplies, controllers, and fixtures - Testing installations and troubleshooting common issues on-site and on service calls - Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly job site - Addressing customer questions and concerns Skills and Qualifications To succeed in this position, you need to: - Have at least one year of experience in roofing, construction, lighting, solar, low-voltage electrical, or another hands-on trade - Safely operate boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment after training - Have a valid California drivers license and personal vehicle - Work comfortably outdoors, and on ladders and rooflines - Lift 50 pounds regularly - Be available to work evenings and weekends About Us Silicon Valley Lights specializes in installing custom holiday, permanent outdoor, and event lighting solutions.
