Start Date: ASAP Salary Range: $179,000.00 - $298,200.00

We invite you to become a part of an expanding academic Pediatric Hematology/Oncology program at our organization. We are looking for a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist with a keen interest in Leukemia and Lymphoma to join a collaborative team of clinicians, educators, and researchers dedicated to enhancing pediatric cancer and blood disorder care across Central Illinois.

This position provides a well-rounded academic practice, robust subspecialty support, opportunities for clinical research, significant teaching responsibilities, and the chance to carve out a specialized niche in a highly supportive environment.

Contribute to the evolution of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology care while establishing a fulfilling academic career at a growing children's hospital and medical school dedicated to clinical excellence, innovation, education, and research.

Clinical Practice:

The Division offers comprehensive care in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, addressing both malignant and benign hematologic disorders, solid tumors, leukemia, lymphoma, and sickle cell disease.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • A blend of outpatient, inpatient, consultative, and procedural duties.
  • Managing approximately 8-9 patients per clinic day.
  • Dedicated time for procedures such as bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, and consultations.
  • Maintaining a broad Pediatric Hematology/Oncology practice while pursuing specific areas of interest.

Salary is competitive and will be determined based on qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
