The Production Welder performs welding operations to assemble and fabricate metal components according to specifications, safety standards, and production requirements.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding instructions.
- Set up and operate welding equipment and related tools.
- Weld, assemble, and fabricate metal components to required specifications.
- Inspect welds and finished work for quality, accuracy, and defects.
- Prepare materials by cutting, fitting, grinding, and positioning components.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance or safety issues.
