We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems at our multifamily residential apartment community in Dallas, TX. The position involves routine maintenance, emergency service calls, and ensuring optimal system performance for multiple residential units, in compliance with all applicable codes and safety standards. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and preventative maintenance at our apartment community to ensure optimal operation
  • Inspect, test, and troubleshoot HVAC systems in apartment units to identify and resolve issues
  • Install, repair, and maintain central HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and related components
  • Perform routine maintenance such as filter changes, lubrication, and control system checks
  • Respond to emergency service calls and schedule seasonal tune-ups for all units
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and emergency on calls to resolve issues promptly and efficiently
  • Recommend and implement energy efficiency upgrades where appropriate
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal HVAC regulations and safety standards
  • Document all service work, parts used, and maintain accurate inventory of tools and supplies using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to ensure compliance and facilitate future servicing


Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in residential HVAC service; multifamily residential highly preferred
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems preferred
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and industry standards/regulations related to mechanical work and equipment handling within all aspects of property maintenance
  • Strong HVAC mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills; ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
  • Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance tasks and inventory management
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task is required
  • EPA Universal certification required
