Position Overview:

The Welder operates and maintains the machines that fabricate and repair metal structures, equipment and machinery.

Key performance objectives in order of priority with projected time allocation are:

1.Safety. Adhere to all safety procedures and protocol to eliminate safety occurrences.5%

2.Flexibility. Completes non-welding tasks on the production floor to meet fluctuating customer demand ensuring on-time delivery of quality product.15%

3.Quality. Follow inspection processes to ensure reliability and consistency within work process and final product.5%

4.Prepare + Maintain. Prepare and maintain machines, equipment, materials, and work area to produce quality product in accordance with customer specifications.15%

5.Weld + Fabricate. Weld and fabricate stainless steel, aluminum, and cold roll steel to produce products that are bult to last and installed in everyday life application.50%

Note: Ten percent of time is spent on activities and ancillary responsibilities unrelated to the performance objectives.
