As an HVAC Installer at Meyer Heating & Air, you'll work on residential and commercial heating and cooling systems, sheet metal fabrication, and service-related diagnostic work. What You'll Do- Install residential and commercial furnace and air conditioning systems
- Fabricate and install sheet metal ductwork
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service vehicle
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
- Minimum of three (3) years of HVAC installation experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely move equipment and materials
- Dependable work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and organization
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
The HVAC Installer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of residential and commercial HVAC systems. This role requires a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Essential Responsibilities- Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems according to manufacturer specifications and company standards
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair work as needed
- Fabricate and install sheet metal ductwork
- Maintain service vehicles, equipment, tools, and inventory
- Complete all work accurately, safely, and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding work performed and recommendations
- Support team members and assist with additional duties as assigned
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional HVAC experience
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry equipment and materials up to 50 pounds
- Demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Valid Social Security card
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
- Maintain company vehicles and ensure inventory is stocked appropriately
- Care for company tools and equipment and report maintenance needs promptly
- Assist with sheet metal fabrication and custom ductwork installations
