Silver Tree Residential is looking for TWO dependable, quality-focused MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORS to join our progressively growing team in DOWNTOWN ST. LOUIS. We are looking for a reliable leaders who are willing to uphold our communities to the highest standards. Come see the beautiful upgrades Summary of Requirements: Advising the Community Director of maintenance problems and of programs designed to solve them. Working with upper management & directors in managing all maintenance-related and capital improvement activities within an assigned property. Inspecting, scheduling, and performing routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as necessary or as directed by the Directors. Capable of dealing effectively with supervisors, residents, vendors, and co-workers. Satisfying work orders promptly and efficiently. Working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances, stoves, dishwashers, disposals, and refrigerators. Some familiarity with electricity, plumbing, and carpentry is required. Assist in the make ready process of vacant apartments to get them ready for new move ins in a timely and detail-oriented manner. Establishing daily work schedules for his/her staff (if any) and monitoring their production, efficiency and the materials used. Knowing current condition of all vacancies. Participating in the hiring of maintenance personnel. Holding classes for the maintenance staff (if any), as needed, to improve their efficiency. Keeping accurate and up-to-date inventory of tools and supplies. Maintaining a clean, orderly, secure workshop. Prior property maintenance experience is preferred. A valid Driver's License and dependable transportation is strongly preferred. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years property maintenance experience. It is essential that the Maintenance Supervisor report to work at his/her regularly scheduled work hours, and have the physical capability to walk all around the property (including stairs), lift heavy items, and otherwise perform a variety of physical tasks regularly and as needed.
