Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour + plumber incentive program

Position SummaryUnited Plumbing is looking for a highly experienced Lead Plumber who can handle jobs that require a higher level of plumbing knowledge and troubleshooting ability.
This is not strictly a commercial position and it is not strictly residential. You will perform commercial and residential service work, including larger and more complex projects.
We are looking for a well-rounded plumber who can independently diagnose difficult problems and has experience with specialized plumbing work such as lift stations, booster pumps, hydro-jetting, underground plumbing, and excavation equipment.
The "Lead" title reflects the technical experience we are looking for. This is a hands-on plumbing position and does not have direct supervisory responsibility.
What You'll Own- Perform commercial and residential plumbing service, repair, maintenance, and installation.
- Diagnose and resolve complex plumbing problems independently.
- Handle larger and more technically challenging commercial and residential plumbing jobs.
- Troubleshoot and service lift station systems.
- Diagnose, repair, and service booster pumps and related pump systems.
- Perform hydro-jetting and advanced drain and sewer work.
- Perform underground plumbing and excavation-related work.
- Operate tractors, excavation equipment, and other authorized equipment used in plumbing repairs and installations.
- Identify the materials, equipment, and resources needed to complete jobs correctly.
- Provide high-quality workmanship while maintaining strong customer service.
- Assist other plumbers with difficult diagnoses or technically challenging jobs when needed.
- Maintain accurate job documentation and follow Company safety procedures and applicable plumbing codes.
You are someone the team can rely on when a plumbing job is more complicated than a standard service call.
You can move between commercial work, residential service, pump systems, drain and sewer work, and larger plumbing projects without needing constant direction.
You troubleshoot before replacing parts, understand how plumbing systems work together, and know when a job requires specialized equipment or a different approach.
Most importantly, you take ownership of the job and complete the work safely, professionally, and correctly.
Requirements: Required Qualifications- Strong commercial and residential plumbing service experience.
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex plumbing problems.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing service, repair, and installation.
- Experience working with drain, sewer, water, and related plumbing systems.
- Ability to safely operate plumbing tools and equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet Company driving requirements.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of plumbing service work.
We are especially interested in plumbers with experience in several of the following areas:
- Commercial plumbing service
- Lift stations
- Booster pumps and pump systems
- Hydro-jetting
- Underground plumbing
- Excavation
- Tractor or excavator operation
- Large or complex residential plumbing projects
- Advanced plumbing diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Senior or lead-level plumbing experience
- $28.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
