Painter Mid-Level
Job Title: Commercial/Residential Painter
Experience: 2 5 years
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our construction team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, stain, coatings, and finishes on commercial and residential construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Prepare walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other surfaces for painting.
Perform sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, and priming.
Apply interior and exterior paints and coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
Match colors and maintain consistent finishes.
Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and finished areas.
Read basic plans, specifications, and work instructions.
Maintain tools and painting equipment.
Follow OSHA and jobsite safety requirements.
Coordinate work with other trades and the Superintendent.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
2 5 years of professional painting experience.
Commercial or residential construction experience preferred.
Knowledge of surface preparation and different paint systems.
Ability to use ladders, lifts, and painting equipment safely.
Reliable transportation and ability to work on active construction sites.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
