Job Title: Leasing Agent 55+ Adult Living Community
Location: 375 Harris Hill Rd, Williamsville, NY 14221
Job Type: Full-Time On-Site MondayFriday (8:30AM 5:00PM)
Reports To: Property Manager
The leasing agent is responsible for being the face of the property, responsible for leasing apartments, providing exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents, and planning and hosting community events that foster social engagement and enhance the living experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Customer Service
Respond to all new leads and follow up with current leads via phone, email and text on a regular basis. (All text and email correspondence must be done in Appfolio)
Greet, tour, and follow up with prospective residents in a friendly and professional manner.
Explain community features, floor plans, pricing, and lease terms using provided talk track as reference.
Assist applicants through the leasing process, including application submission, credit/background checks, lease signing, and move-in coordination.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all leasing activity in the property management system.
Respond to resident inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure high satisfaction and retention. All communication (written, verbal, phone or email) is to be through the leasing agent unless prospect, resident, or visitor become confrontational, then Property Manager will step in. Even if you are not aware of the answer at that moment, tell inquirer that you will investigate and get back to them as soon as you have the answer.
Monitor apartment availability and update marketing listings accordingly.
Once a month, update Market Survey to help understand where we stand with our competitors in the area. This is due on the 15th of each month.
Receive and input checks. Once submitted into system, give to property manager to ensure accuracy.
Assist manager with other projects and tasks as needed.
Resident Engagement & Event Coordination
Plan, organize, and host a variety of social, educational, and wellness events tailored to the 55+ community (e.g., coffee hours, health screenings, seasonal celebrations, game days).
Collaborate with vendors, entertainers, and service providers as needed.
Promote events through flyers, newsletters, and community boards.
Maintain a welcoming and vibrant community atmosphere that supports independent living and connection among residents.
Experience:
Leasing or Sales experience preferred.
Great customer service skills required.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
Pay:
$19-$22 Plus Commission
