We are looking for a capable Leasing Agent to present and lease properties to prospective renters. The goal is to scout potential clients, turn them into actual ones, and achieve high occupancy rates. We need proactive people-persons who are well-versed and visible in the local community. The right candidate should be prepared to conduct market surveys and shop competitive communities.

Compensation:

$55,000+ at plan commission

Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically to maintain our level of company standards
• Become acquainted with client expectations of housing and finances and highlight properties that meet those expectations
• Work with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting security deposits in order to close the deal
• Show prospective tenants properties and highlight the provided amenities to help ensure rental contract

• Explain the requirements for potential tenants
• Review the rental application process with potential tenants
• Meet and qualify for rental opportunities provided to you by the company

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Past sales experience is preferred
• Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Publisher

• Knowledge of types of homes and their heating systems
• Strong knowledge of neighborhoods in Philadelphia
