Teamcenter Technical Lead

Experience: 6-10 years
Focus: Teamcenter X Development / Customization / Integration

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Teamcenter Technical Lead to lead the technical design, development, customization, integration, and deployment of Teamcenter X solutions. This individual will serve as a technical leader for the development team while remaining hands-on with Teamcenter development and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with BMIDE, ITK/SOA, Active Workspace, Teamcenter APIs, integrations, and custom development, along with the ability to translate functional and architectural requirements into working technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• 6-10 years of hands-on Teamcenter development experience, including technical leadership responsibilities.
• Lead technical design, development, configuration, customization, code review, deployment, and defect resolution.
• Translate functional requirements and architecture into detailed technical designs.
• Lead development of BMIDE extensions, workflows, Active Workspace customizations, reports, utilities, and integration components.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of BMIDE, ITK/SOA, Active Workspace, workflow handlers, Teamcenter APIs, and deployment practices.
• Development experience with technologies such as Java, C/C++, C#, JavaScript, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with Teamcenter X integrations, migration utilities, CAD connectors, and cloud deployments.
• Experience with SolidWorks Integration (SWIM) and Altium integration is highly desirable.
• Coordinate technical delivery across developers, functional consultants, integration teams, migration teams, and architects.
• Own technical unit testing, build packaging, release management, environment promotion, and CI/CD activities.
• Lead technical defect triage during SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
• Establish coding standards, security requirements, maintainability standards, and an out-of-the-box-first approach.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical documentation, leadership, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Teamcenter X SaaS and Siemens Xcelerator experience are preferred.
• Medical Device or another regulated-industry background is a strong plus.

Top Must-Haves: Hands-on Teamcenter development, BMIDE + ITK/SOA + Active Workspace, Teamcenter X integrations, and strong Java/C++/Python development capabilities.
