Job Description We are seeking an experienced Application Architect IV to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in full-stack engineering, CI/CD, test automation, and solution architecture and a proven ability to deliver complex, compliant solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while maintaining architectural integrity. Code solutions and create unit tests to satisfy acceptance criteria and compliance requirements. Lead story refinement, define requirements, and estimate work across the delivery lifecycle. Mentor engineers and coach teams on CI/CD practices and toolchain automation. Perform spikes and proofs of concept to mitigate risk and validate new ideas. Automate manual release activities to improve delivery efficiency. Design, develop, and maintain automated integration, regression, and performance test suites. Deliver complex features that enable development efficiencies and quality outcomes. Provide technical thought leadership across multiple implementations and competencies. Remain accountable for end-to-end solution design and delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years as a software engineer with experience across frontend and backend languages, including Python, Ansible, Java, and Bash scripting. Deep understanding of data structures and object-oriented programming principles. Proficiency with relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL. Strong knowledge of software development, testing practices, and architectural patterns. Hands-on experience executing CI/CD and delivering automated software testing. Experience with application development methodologies and infrastructure concepts. Working knowledge of JIRA, Remedy, and ServiceNow. Preferred Skills: Experience delivering compliant, secure solutions with built-in observability and maintainability. Background in performance testing and release automation at scale. Why BCforward?
