This role supports lease administration, landlord invoicing, sales reporting, and month-end accounting processes, while serving as a key partner in maintaining the integrity of lease-related financial records. Prepare, audit, and process monthly rent payments, annual lease settlements, landlord invoices, lease amendments, and other lease-related charges while ensuring compliance with lease terms Manage percentage rent calculations, filings, and payments, maintaining accurate breakpoint and percentage rent information within the lease administration system Ensure the accuracy and completeness of sales data, process monthly landlord sales reports, and reconcile Spirit daily rent activity. Maintain accurate lease accounting records, including journal entries, accruals, reclasses, balance sheet reconciliations, and income statement account management Review and analyze monthly variances, partnering with Real Estate and FP&A teams to resolve lease-related questions and discrepancies Serve as the primary finance contact for landlords, addressing lease payment and accounting inquiries while ensuring timely issue resolution Support lease administration system maintenance, lease data integrity, refund processing, account coding activities, and other lease accounting responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant retail lease accounting experience preferred Experience with multi-site lease accounting software packages Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word, as well as integrated General Ledger and Accounts Payable applications; PeopleSoft experience preferred Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy Able to meet tight deadlines during the monthly close process Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff Willingness to work additional hours as needed to support lease responsibilities, particularly during Spirit season The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position. Pay Range $50,000 - $65,000
