Job description
The accounts payable manager compiles and maintains accounts payable records for all operational expenses in a multi-Company environment. This position works with all departments to process payments quickly, accurately, and efficiently while supervising one staff member.
Job Duties:
- Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment.
- Processes credit card statements, following up with credit card users for proper receipts.
- Reviews all outbound shipment billing.
- Examines duty, ocean, air, and land freight billing payments.
- Reconciles vendor statements & all vendor inquiries.
- Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and accounts payable files.
- Provides reconciliations for the monthly and annual closing process.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Previous Accounting and Accounts Payable experience
- Knowledge of General Ledger
- Organization skills

- Proficient in Excel
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior ERP experience a plus
