Senior Full Stack Java Developer - SE4 Location: Charlotte, NC (3days on hybrid) Interview Process: Onsite Interview Pay Rate: $60-70/hr Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our enterprise technology team in Uptown Charlotte. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across both backend and frontend development, with an approximately 50% backend / 50% frontend focus. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular 16+, and SQL Server, along with experience developing scalable enterprise applications and working within Agile and DevSecOps environments. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong technical ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with development, QA, product, and operations teams. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and support scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot. Develop responsive and scalable user interfaces using Angular 16+. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications. Apply object-oriented design principles and industry-standard design patterns to develop maintainable and scalable solutions. Work with SQL Server to develop queries, stored procedures, data models, and optimize database performance. Develop and maintain integrations using XML, JSON, REST APIs, JDBC, and JPA. Write comprehensive unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure application quality and reliability. Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Troubleshoot complex application, performance, and production issues and provide effective technical solutions. Collaborate with QA teams to support functional, integration, and regression testing. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. Create and maintain technical documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Work effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, product owners, business stakeholders, and operations teams. Required Qualifications 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development. Strong experience with: Java Spring Spring MVC Spring Boot J2EE XML JSON RESTful APIs JDBC JPA Unit Testing frameworks 6+ years of hands-on Angular development experience, with strong experience in Angular 16 or higher. Strong experience developing responsive and scalable web applications. 3+ years of SQL Server development experience, including: Complex SQL queries Query optimization Stored procedures Data modeling Proven experience developing and supporting microservices-based applications. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns. Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD practices. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence. Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across development, QA, product, and operations teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within large-scale enterprise or financial-services environments. Prior experience supporting highly regulated or security-sensitive applications. Experience with modern CI/CD and cloud-native development practices. Experience with containerization and platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with automated testing and quality engineering practices. Experience working with high-volume, highly available enterprise applications.
