Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced OpenText DBA to support an OpenText platform upgrade and migration project. The role involves planning, executing, and validating database migration activities while ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity throughout the upgrade lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and administer OpenText database environments. Plan and execute database migrations and upgrades for OpenText applications. Perform database backup, recovery, performance tuning, and health monitoring. Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities. Troubleshoot database and application performance issues during the project. Collaborate with OpenText, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure successful deployments. Prepare technical documentation and support cutover and post-go-live activities. Required Skills: 5+ years of DBA experience supporting OpenText platforms. Strong experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server. Hands-on experience with OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, OTDS, or Extended ECM environments. Experience with OpenText upgrades, database migrations, and performance tuning. Knowledge of backup/recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
