Job description
We are currently seeking a Marine Propulsion Mechanic to join our Oxnard, CA team. This role is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing marine and diesel engines to ensure reliable performance for marine vessels and related applications.
Location: City of Industry, CA
Pay: $33 - $57.50/hr (DOE) + Overtime + Full Benefits
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair marine diesel engines, generators
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
- Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, cooling, and hydraulic systems
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- Perform engine overhauls and component replacements
- Maintain accurate service reports and documentation
- Provide strong customer service while working independently
What We're Looking For
- Experience with diesel engines (marine or industrial)
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- CAT or similar equipment experience is a plus
