Job Title: Payroll Coordinator
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Pay Range: $35-$38/HR (Based on Experience & Qualifications)

Role Overview:

Brilliant Financial Staffing has partnered with a well-established and rapidly growing company in Santa Ana, CA, to identify a Payroll Coordinator. This is a contract opportunity for approximately 5 months, with potential for extension, to provide coverage for an extended medical leave.

The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for processing payroll for 2,500+ employees across a multi-state environment, along with supporting payroll reporting and compliance activities. This is an immediate need, and the ideal candidate will be available to interview and start as soon as possible.

Payroll Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process weekly payroll for 2,500+ hourly employees and bi-weekly payroll for salaried employees
• Reconcile timecards and payroll data in UKG
• Process approximately 25 garnishments on a bi-weekly basis
• Process timekeeping data related to customer job sites for upload into UKG and reporting
• Support various payroll-related projects and reporting needs
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by management

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Payroll experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-state payroll environment
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
• Excellent communication skills
• UKG payroll experience is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
