Job Summary:
The Plumber (Temporary) is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures on assigned construction projects. This role supports project timelines by ensuring plumbing work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and project specifications. This is a project-based position expected to last approximately 3-6 months, depending on project needs and progress. The primary work site for this temporary position will be at Douglas, Wyoming.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for water, gas, drainage, and sewage systems
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to determine layout and installation requirements
Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe using hand and power tools
Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or code violations; perform necessary repairs or replacements
Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to coordinate work and maintain project schedules
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety regulations
Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper functionality
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with company safety standards
Operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently
Document work completed and report progress or issues to leadership
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
Other duties as assigned
Education/Certifications/Licenses
High School Diploma or GED required
Valid Wyoming Apprentice/Journeyman Plumber License preferred (or equivalent experience - confirm)
