Experienced MIG/TIG Welder & Cobot Programmer - Direct HirePay: $28-$30 per hourLocation: Mentor, OHSchedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.Job Type: Full-time, Direct HireAn established manufacturer is seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder with hands-on Cobot programming experience. This is a skilled position requiring previous experience in both welding and Cobot programming. It is not an entry-level welding or programming opportunity.Required ExperienceApplicants must have:At least 3 years of experience working with and programming Cooper CobotsAt least 5 years of MIG and TIG welding experienceExperience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminumAbility to read blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbolsExperience using measuring and inspection tools, including tape measures and calipersStrong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality workDependable attendance and reliable work habitsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredCandidates without Cobot programming experience will not be considered.ResponsibilitiesProgram and operate collaborative welding robotsPerform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminumFabricate metal components according to blueprints and technical drawingsSet up welding equipment, fixtures, and materialsWork with Engineering to develop welding fixturesOperate an angle grinder to finish and smooth weldsOperate an automatic sawInspect completed work for quality and accuracyMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaPhysical RequirementsAbility to handle and move components weighing up to 50 poundsDirect-Hire BenefitsHealth insurance after 90 days401(k) matchingPaid time offApplicants must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.If you have the required Cobot programming and MIG/TIG welding experience, apply today for immediate consideration.
