Scientist, Disease Data Analytics ()

will integrate various types of data, including multi-'omics', literature and clinical data, and apply analytical models to derive novel insights such as gene to disease associations for therapeutic hypothesis generation; develop computational approaches to address patient stratification and biomarker challenges on complex autoimmune/neurological diseases, such as identifying biomarkers for sub-groups of patients with different pathogenesis process, or patients that may best response to Sanofi's drug treatments; perform supervised analysis of large molecular datasets, including transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics data using specialized bioinformatics pipelines/tools. EOE, no agencies.

Education and Experience Requirements

At least Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related field, and at least 4 years of experience working as Associate Scientist or Scientist, or working in a related scientific occupation.

Travel Requirements

Travel required once or twice a year within North America (approximately 5 days per trip) to external scientific conferences to present research findings.

Telecommuting/Remote Work is Permitted

Employer permits the employee in this role to work remotely from their residence 2 days a week so long as that is within normal commuting distance or within the same metropolitan statistical area.
